Did you catch Sand Pact at Manifest III last month? If not, you have another chance to experience this.

In a special “State of Sound” event on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. in the D. H. Hill Jr. Library Fishbowl Forum, NC State student Kaanchee of the experimental music duo Sand Pact discuss finding community and music inspiration through campus radio station WKNC, the NCSU Libraries’ Music Rooms and Music Booths, and the underground Triangle music scene.

Kaanchee will talk about her beginnings as an artist, what it means to build community through music, and how we can bring under- and un-heard voices to the surface through art.

This event is free and open to the public.
